Liverpool FC
Our Client
Liverpool FC is one of the world’s most iconic football clubs, welcoming millions of fans to Anfield each season across matchdays, events and year‑round activations.

With hospitality and retail offers spanning multiple tiers, spaces and customer types, the client's focus was on building a food system that could flex, scale and evolve alongside the club’s ambitions.
Liverpool FC
The Brief
Liverpool FC needed to elevate its food and drink offer across hospitality and retail, starting with hospitality, while working within a complex, high‑volume stadium operation.

The ambition was to create clearly differentiated experiences by tier and space, supported by a shared operational backbone that would reduce complexity and future‑proof delivery.

Egg Soldiers was tasked with defining the food vision, menu architecture and concept direction across multiple hospitality tiers and retail environments, ensuring consistency where it mattered, and individuality where it counted.

Key Project Elements

  • Distinct Food Visions Across Hospitality & Retail
We began with deep immersion into Anfield’s lounges, concourses, customers and operations.

Each environment - from premium dining to high-volume kiosks - required a clearly defined identity.

For every concept, we set a detailed food vision spanning cuisine direction, category guardrails, dayparts and menu structure - alongside presentation, packaging, crockery, glassware, branding, colour palettes and CCG.

Each offer was distinct in personality, aligned under Liverpool FC’s overarching culinary framework.
  • Tiered Experiences,
    Built to Scale
We created fully realised experiences across hospitality tiers and retail categories, supported by shared governance and workflows.

Differentiation came through menu architecture, ingredient hierarchy and flavour direction, from premium brasserie cues to crave-led retail specials across burgers, dogs, loaded and chicken.

Clear presentation styles, LTO strategy and packaging standards ensured each offer felt intentional for fans, while remaining scalable for teams.
  • Operationally Grounded Creativity at Stadium Scale
Every concept was developed with real‑world stadium delivery in mind, across both hospitality and retail.

Kitchen capability, service flow, prep levels and equipment constraints informed creative decisions from day one.

Modular menu thinking and shared operational components allowed Liverpool FC to deliver variety at scale, extend the food vision into retail spaces, and introduce change over time without compromising speed, quality or control.
Liverpool FC
The Result
Liverpool FC now has a future‑proofed food ecosystem that balances creativity with control.

Menus, spaces and experiences are modern, adaptable and clearly defined, able to evolve with changing fan expectations, new activations and future seasons, without disrupting operational performance.

Most importantly, the framework puts Liverpool FC in control: enabling growth, refinement and innovation for years to come.
