As Head of Product Development for M&S Hospitality, Toph injected foodservice best practices and the entrepreneurial thinking of a young brand into a leading retail focused environment – launching on-trend new concepts and re-thinking existing offers:
> The Market Place – a new hospitality concept launch within the Foodhall, serving on-trend lunchtime focussed menus across a variety of street food style counters. Delivering the customer need for in-store 'freshly made' food
> Deli Counter – the re-development of the traditional M&S counter into a modern self-serve deli offer
> M&S Café – evolved the offer into a fit for purpose, operationally simple, modern café concept; creating the optimum menu offer, full of recognisable, blockbuster, commercial dishes that showcased the best of M&S food. Ensuring all were in line with a loyal customer base
The success of all of the concept project work resulted in a planned estate-wide roll-out.
